Program Objectives:
Having completed the video program and the activities, students will be able to:

1. identify and use the "ore" and "are" sound spelling patterns.

2. use these patterns to unlock words and participate in written language.

3. appreciate that there are many words made up of these patterns.  Among them are  "more", "core", "store", "snore", "care", "share", "dare", and "spare".

4. recognize and use the letters "m", "c", "st", "sn", "sh", "d", "sp", and "r" and the sounds associated with them.

5. appreciate the power of written language in song lyrics, stories, literature and signs.
